Private Lessons

Our Instructors teach a wide array of Instruments

We at Resonance School of Music know as parents and consumers you have many options when it comes to your choice in a suitable music school. Not only are our instructors highly trained and skilled, but our facilities offer beautiful newly reconditioned instruments, modern technologies, an in-house music library and the latest in recording and music production capabilities. Our studios are comfortable, spacious and complete with everything needed to ensure your best experience. Our goal as a studio is that our students needs, dreams and wants as a musician come first. This involves making sure students are succeeding in their studies with us.

Resonance School of Music offers lessons on various instruments and voice. We offer private weekly music lessons on the following instruments:

All private lessons are tuition based, and are rolling admission. This means you can start and stop whenever you like. Studios are filled on a first come first serve basis.

Our Private Music Lesson instructors are held to a high standard of quality. Each instrument that we teach is guided by curriculum set by the Royal Conservatory of Music.(RCM). Each of our instructors is required to show student growth and development by implementing RCM standards for repertoire, technique, and performance with each lesson. Comprehensive lesson notes must be presented by our teachers to our programming director bi- weekly to oversee that our standards of music education are being met. Even though this is a standard practice in Education, we are one of the only studios in the area with this kind of accountability system for our instructors. Just one of the many things that set us apart.

Mahavishnu Orchestra - You Know, You Know We're kicking off August with the Mahavishnu Orchestra featuring John McLaughlin on guitar. Their style could be described as an experimental and acid jazz fusion type thing teetering on avant-garde at times. The piece I've...

Giuda - Overdrive It may be surprising to hear that this song is brand new and came out in April of this year! Formed in Italy just 12 years ago, the band Giuda is combining some of the most popular elements of punk, classic rock, and heavy rock in a very successful...

Boz Scaggs - JoJo My relationship with Mr. Scaggs has more to do with his name than with his music. The first time the words "Boz" and "Scaggs" touched my ears I knew I would remember this name forever. During any night out on the town or at any bar trivia, you'll...

Summer Vibes Rick Wakeman - The Journey Overture Many people are familiar with Rick Wakeman's work with the progressive rock band "Yes". It wasn't until last year that I was even made aware of the fantastic music Rick has been putting out. One common concept he uses...

Nick Johnston - A Cure Promised Like many of the artists I discover, I found Nick Johnston through the Spotify related artists radio. I was introduced to his work Remarkably Human and instantly fell in love. I think he achieves the perfect blend between technique and...

moe. - Silver Sun There's only room for so many jam bands in my playlists and moe. has rightfully earned their spot as one of them. I'm a sucker for hypnotic bass lines, tight drums, and buttery sounding organs. The first half of this track is very laid back while the...

May 2019 Releases Peter Frampton - Georgia On My Mind Peter Frampton is an absolute role model of a musician. He is constantly learning and growing in his playing, while simultaneously showing music the respect and appreciation we all ought to have towards it. His...

Moon Hooch - St. Louis I think if you asked most people to pick 3 instruments to form a band with, probably no one would choose 2 saxophones and a drummer. Moon Hooch started in 2010 as buskers in New York and their growth has been fun to watch. I first experienced...

Jessica Allossery - Up in the Blue Here's another artist that was shared with me by one of the parents of the studio. This is Allossery's most recent song which was released just 5 days ago. It's the newest song I have shared so far. Her singing and guitar work are...

Expand your ear! Graham Central Station - It Ain't No Fun to Me Larry Graham is a name that every bassist in the world must know and every musician should know. After his work with Sly and the Family Stone, he started Graham Central Station which is appropriately...
