Tyler McLaughlin
Tyler McLaughlin is a passionate musician, performer, and educator who has been making music since the age of 10. Introduced to the guitar by his father—a lifelong musician—Tyler quickly developed a deep love for music that continues to shape his life and career.
Tyler has expanded his skills through online study, personal projects, and live performance. He is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in History and Sociology at Rowan University, bringing both academic and creative perspectives to his teaching.
As the lead guitarist for the local band Sumthin’ Else, Tyler knows the thrill of performing and strives to pass that excitement on to his students. His background as a substitute teacher in Williamstown Elementary Schools has given him a talent for keeping young learners engaged, making lessons fun, interactive, and motivating.
Whether you’re just picking up the guitar or looking to take your skills to the next level, Tyler creates a supportive learning environment that’s focused on growth, creativity, and the joy of music.
