Yes, You heard us Correctly!!!
Resonance School of Music is excited to announce that we will be opening our second studio location for classes September 11th, 2017 in Woodbury, NJ.
We are incredibly excited to be a part of this bustling and artistic city to share our skills in music performance and education with the community. Already, the amount of support has been overwhelming and we graciously want to thank all the merchants, community members, and our current clients that helped us make this decision.
The planning for this new venture started about a year ago when we started canvassing local areas to establish our schools’ second studio location. We set certain criteria in order to help make our decision, and honestly, we were not looking at Woodbury at first. In the end, our decision was based on meeting with the community members which helped to determine the best fit for us and our clients.
It’s hard to ignore the real sense of community that we felt when we visited Woodbury to scout properties a year ago, It just felt like home. Since then we have scouted other properties and prospects but kept coming back to Woodbury, mostly because of the sense of community, activism and the love for the city people shared with us seemed like a great fit for our mission as a school of music. Here at Resonance School of Music, we pride ourselves on creating a welcoming sense of community. Our clients are not just customers, they’re part of the Resonance family. We believe a student’s private lesson is only the beginning of their musical development. Our unique approach to community musical learning is what has set us it apart from others.
At Resonance, in addition to private lessons, students are encouraged to participate in a wide range of extracurricular classes and performance opportunities to develop their musicianship and character. We believe that learning music is more than just playing the notes, it’s understanding the world around us and teaching a sense of community involvement. We will always strive to prepare every student to achieve their personal musical goal because we know how important it is to follow your heart and work for your goals.
Our family oriented studios cultivate an environment of cooperative learning, inviting a healthy sense of competition and camaraderie amongst our students. We are pleased to dedicate ourselves to our students by providing just the right combination of competitive curriculum, personal attention, and music family values believing that with the right tools and encouragement anything is possible.
All of this can be summarized in our mantra:
Inspire * Imagine * Dream
Inspire: Coming from the Latin word meaning to inflame, as teachers we must turn a students’ musical spark into a roaring fire
Imagine: Music is limited only to what our minds can create; we must foster a strong sense of exploration
Dream: Aspiration can bring you anywhere you want to go, never let a student forget this
