Kay Meyer is an oboist and English horn player based in the Philadelphia area. Originally from Vermont, Kay is an accomplished musician with extensive performance experience. She is a graduate of Temple University’s Boyer College of Music and Dance, where she studied under Elizabeth Masoudnia, solo English hornist with the Philadelphia Orchestra, and Jonathan Blumenfeld, oboist with the Philadelphia Orchestra.

Kay has performed in numerous ensembles, including Berks Sinfonietta, Independence Sinfonia, Vermont Philharmonic, and Green Mountain Mahler Festival.

Kay’s dedication to music extends beyond performance; she is also passionate about teaching and sharing the joy of music with others. She has experience teaching all wind instruments in private lesson settings as well as coaching small and large ensembles.
